Our institution provides quality and affordable higher education to the rural community students with a clear focus on Academics, Placement and Research and Development continuously.
During the academic year 2022-2023, VCET offers 9 UG programmes and 5 PG programmes. Through NPTEL Local Chapter, 1187 students and 66 faculty members were awarded with certificates. VCET has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with more than 85 industries. Research, Innovation and Placement are the key success for the development of Educational Institutions. Out of 569 students 528 were placed and 622 of our students got offers in reputed multinational companies. 30 patents were published and 2 copyrights were registered, 5 consultancy activities were carried out, 5 programmes were funded by various funding agencies, 101 proposals were sent by the faculty members to various funding agencies and 69 papers were published in International Journals.
Students from Bio-Medical Engineering won one lakh cash prize in Smart India Hackathon held at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally, Kerala during August 25th - 29th, 2022.
1641 students got benefited by scholarships to the tune of Rs. 3.38 crores offered by the Institution. Various Clubs like NSS, YRC, RRC, NCC, Rotaract Club, Women Empowerment Cell, English Literary Association and Electoral Literacy Club are functioning as a part of societal awareness.
