The students are wearing shoes to avoid accidents in the safety measures. The student strength is splitted into number of batches and each batch is getting trained with different persons having knowledge in the particular field. In the welding students get the knowledge about the material to be welded, current density and arc length etc. In the sheet metal works students learn about thickness of metal sheets and its measurements with cutting and bending operations for making small funnels, tray etc. In the plumbing students learning the basic connections of pipes made up of different materials and threading etc. In the carpentry the 'T' joint and Dovetail joints are prepared. In the electrical engineering part the basic circuits like tube light connections are studied.

central facilityCAD Laboratory
CAD Laboratory has been established in the year 2012 with a total carpet area of 2000 sq.ft. A well-equipped computer lab with advanced facilities is established for the benefit of the mechanical engineering students. High end terminals supported by latest hardware and software, latest visual aids, etc. are among them. Advanced mechanical engineering softwares are procured for making the students globally competitive and industry ready. At CAD lab, students get professional training on 2D & 3D drafting of mechanical engineering drawings using the latest version of Auto CAD 2014, CREO 2.0, Cut Viewer (Turner & Miller), ANSYS 15.0 and latest Operating System software. All the software has been acquired with a good number of user licenses to meet the needs of a large number of students and faculty members. Student will learn computer aided design layout and 3D solid modeling definition. Students will also gain the knowledge of design and drafting needed for mechanical engineering discipline. The laboratory has a total number of 70 computer system with the latest configurations connected with a high-end server through switched networking.

central facilityCAM Laboratory
CAM laboratory was established in the year 2014 with the area of 30.69 m2 with one CNC trainer Lathe and one CNC trainer Mill with ‘Fanuc’ controllers. Students can do ‘Simulation’ for machining using simulation software ‘Cut viewer’. They do machining like Step turning, Taper turning, Grooving and Profile turning in Lathe and Contour milling, Circular pocketing, Rectangular pocketing, Drilling in Mill as per the syllabus set in curriculum. Hence they are aware of all important codes required and can write manual part programmes for various simple machining processes. Then can do machining in both the machines and it will be helpful for them to get basic knowledge and awareness about the CNC machines.

central facilityDynamics laboratory
The Dynamics laboratory has been established in the year 2014 with a total carpeted area of 114.28 Sq.m. (1230 Sq. ft). The lab is equipped with various sophisticated equipment and experiments, which would supplement the knowledge gained through the course ‘Theory of Machines’.

central facilityMetrology and Measurement Laboratory
The Metrology and Measurement Laboratory is the custodian of the official mass, volume and length standards for the State and provides world class level calibration services to the legal weights. Measurement is the act or the result of a quantitative comparison between a predetermined standard and an unknown magnitude. It is essential that the procedure and apparatus employed for obtaining the comparison must be provable. The results of measurements be meaningful and followed by all the standard which is used for comparison must be accurately known and commonly accepted. Metrology covers the accuracy, precision and repeatability of a measurement. It involves traceability or comparison with a “standard” or between different measuring systems. Metrology includes all theoretical and practical aspects of measurement, whatever the measurement uncertainty or the field of application. Students will learnthe necessary skills for calibration and testing of different gauges and instruments and to collect data, perform analysis and interpret results to draw valid conclusions through standard test procedures using various metrology instruments. The Laboratory has a total number of 33 Equipment’s.

central facility Manufacturing Technology Lab- I
Manufacturing Technology Lab- I is a well equipped laboratory which provides ideas on the practical knowledge of several steps of pattern types and its usage, sand mould creation, gating design, This laboratory is scheduled for 3 rd semester Mechanical engineering students. Also turning, facing, taper turning exercises are taught as per curriculum and also threading, knurling , step turning etc, which are difficult to understand in the theory session is easily understood by students when they do in real time environments. In this lab, Students are exposed to welding field also.

central facilityManufacturing Technology lab- II
Manufacturing Technology laboratory -II is aimed at providing an introduction to the Know-how of common processes used in industries for manufacturing parts by removal of material in a controlled manner. Auxiliary methods for machining to desired accuracy is covered. The emphasis throughout the laboratory course will be on understanding the basic features of the processes rather than details of constructions of machine, or common practices in manufacturing or acquiring skill in the operation of machines. Evidently, acquaintance with the machine is desirable and the laboratory sessions will provide adequate opportunity for this. This lab has equipped with the Radial drilling machine, shaping machines, horizontal/universal milling machines, vertical milling machine, slotting machine, gear hobbing machine, cylindrical grinder, centre less grinder, tool and cutter grinder, surface grinding machine and planer machine.

central facility Mechatronics Laboratory
Mechatronics Laboratory has been established in the year 2015 with a total carpet area of 1200sq.ft. This laboratory is designed to assist the students in the development of hands on skills with an emphasis on hardware architecture and multidisciplinary systems. Also providing focused laboratory environment to the engineering students to apply and absorb Mechatronics concepts. The main objective is to promote interdisciplinary research and industry driven innovation in the cutting-edge areas of mechatronics and to synergies the combination of mechanical, electronics, control engineering and computer.
